12/20kV LXHIOE(cbe) Cable Feature
- Double-layer longitudinal water-blocking (CBE): This is the most distinctive feature of this model. The (CBE) designation indicates that both the conductor and the metal shield possess longitudinal water-blocking capabilities, using water-blocking yarn or tape to prevent moisture from penetrating along the cable’s axial direction, making it suitable for humid environments or areas prone to water accumulation.
- High-Temperature-Resistant XLPE Insulation: Featuring cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, the conductor has a long-term allowable operating temperature of up to 90°C and a short-circuit temperature rating (for up to 5 seconds) of up to 250°C.
- Flexible Copper Wire Shielding: The metal shield consists of copper wire (rather than copper tape), making the cable more flexible overall and easier to bend and install, while also providing a fault current path.
- Weather- and Abrasion-Resistant PE Outer Sheath: The black polyethylene outer sheath offers excellent resistance to abrasion, UV radiation, and environmental stress, making it suitable for outdoor, exposed, and direct-buried applications.
