18/30kV LXHIOE(be) Cable Feature

XLPE Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) is used as the primary insulation, combined with a semiconductive XLPE shielding layer, providing excellent electrical performance and a high long-term operating temperature (maximum conductor operating temperature of 90°C).
PE Outer Sheath: The polyethylene outer sheath offers excellent resistance to abrasion, UV radiation, and environmental stress, making it suitable for harsh environments such as outdoor use and direct burial.
Longitudinal Water Barrier: The suffix (be) indicates that the cable features a longitudinal water barrier within the metal shield, typically achieved by applying a water-barrier tape to the exterior of the shield, which effectively prevents moisture from penetrating along the cable’s axial direction.
