2XSY / N2XSY / A2XSY / NA2XSY Cable Feature
- Excellent insulation performance: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation features low dielectric loss and good heat resistance (continuous operating temperature of 90°C; short-circuit temperature rating of 250°C).
- Reliable shielding structure: A concentric layer of copper wires plus a 0.1 mm copper tape wrap, which both evens out the electric field and provides sufficient fault short-circuit current capacity (the copper tape serves to bind the layers and assist in current conduction).
- Sheath Material: PVC ST2 (IEC 60502) or DMV 6 (VDE 0276), offering good chemical resistance, moisture resistance, and flame-retardant properties.
- Conductor Structure: Compact-lay stranded round or profiled (Class 2) conductors with a small outer diameter and smooth surface, which promote a uniform electric field and facilitate joint fabrication.
