- It has low dielectric loss (tanδ ≈ 0.001), high insulation resistance, and excellent dielectric strength, making it suitable for long-distance power transmission with low line losses.
- It has high mechanical strength and can withstand high external pressure, tensile forces, and impact.
- The steel tape armor provides a certain degree of protection against rodent and termite damage (an anti-termite sheath can be added for enhanced protection if needed).
