XRUHAKXS Cable Feature
- Longitudinal Water Barrier: Semiconductive swelling tapes are wrapped around both the outer insulation shield and the outer copper shield; these tapes swell upon contact with water to prevent moisture from penetrating along the cable’s longitudinal axis.
- Radial Water Barrier: The inner surface of the outer sheath features a longitudinally wrapped layer of Al/PET (aluminum/polyester) tape, which is tightly bonded to the sheath to form a metallic barrier that prevents moisture from radially penetrating from the outside.
- Outer Sheath: Made of MDPE or HDPE, black in color, with UV resistance, suitable for outdoor exposure or direct burial.
- Bending Radius: Installation typically requires a bending radius of no less than 15 times the cable’s outer diameter (some specifications indicate 10 or 12 times).
