- Ultra-low partial discharge (≤5 pC): At twice the rated voltage, the partial discharge level does not exceed 5 picocoulombs. This ensures high insulation purity, significantly extends the cable’s service life, and reduces the risk of breakdown during operation.
- Three-layer co-extruded insulation structure: The conductor shield, XLPE insulation layer, and insulation shield are produced using a three-layer simultaneous extrusion process, ensuring tight bonding between layers and effectively preventing partial discharge and interfacial air gaps.
- Dual-layer radial water-blocking structure: An internal semiconductive water-blocking tape is filled with water-blocking material, while an external longitudinal wrap of aluminum-plastic composite tape (aluminum foil + copolymer layer) forms a tight radial water-blocking layer. This prevents moisture from seeping into the insulation from the sides and inhibits water-tree aging.
- Metal shielding layer (copper wire + copper tape): Loosely wound copper wire is secured with a layer of 0.1 mm copper tape wrapped in the opposite direction, serving as a short-circuit current path and grounding loop, and providing a certain fault current carrying capacity.
- The outer sheath is made of PE (polyethylene): It offers excellent resistance to moisture, acids, alkalis, and UV radiation, making it suitable for outdoor and humid environments; however, it is not flame-retardant (it will continue to burn when exposed to fire).
