8.7/15kV XHIOE(be) Cable Feature

Multi-layer Semiconductive Shielding: Both the conductor shielding and the insulation shielding are made of semiconductive XLPE; the insulation shielding also incorporates a semiconductive tape, which helps uniform the electric field and ensures peelability.
PE Outer Sheath: The polyethylene sheath provides a robust barrier with high resistance to abrasion, UV radiation, and environmental exposure; the sheath is black in color.
Longitudinal Water Barrier (be): A water-barrier yarn or tape is installed outside the metal shield to prevent moisture from penetrating along the cable’s length; this is a key feature that distinguishes this model from standard XHIOE cables.
Dual-Scenario Installation: Suitable for indoor or outdoor installation; it can be laid on cable trays, run through conduits underground, or buried directly in well-drained soil.
