12/20kV XHIOE(be) Cable Feature
- Metal Shielding: Copper wire shielding is used, which offers better flexibility and short-circuit current carrying capacity compared to copper tape shielding, while also providing a fault current path.
- Outer Sheath: The PE (polyethylene) outer sheath provides a robust barrier with high abrasion resistance and resistance to UV radiation and environmental exposure, making it suitable for outdoor use and direct burial.
- Water-Blocking Principle: Moisture is prevented from flowing along the length of the cable by applying a water-blocking tape over the metal shield and, when necessary, adding water-blocking yarn beneath the shield.
