12/20 kV XHIOE(cbe) Cable Feature

Insulation and Shielding: Features cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, along with a semiconductive conductor shield and an insulation shield.
Outer Sheath: A black polyethylene (PE) outer sheath that provides excellent abrasion resistance, UV resistance, and environmental durability.
Longitudinal Water Blocking (Core Feature): The suffix “(cbe)” specifically indicates that this cable possesses dual longitudinal water-blocking capabilities for both the conductor and the metal shield. Water-blocking yarn/tape is used in the conductor layer, and water-blocking tape is applied to the exterior of the metal shield layer, effectively preventing moisture from penetrating along the cable’s longitudinal axis.
Shielding Structure: A copper wire shield (distinct from the copper tape shielding used in XHIE cables) is combined with a semiconductive insulated shielding layer to uniformize the electric field and carry short-circuit currents.
