- Direct Burial: SWA armored cable effectively resists soil pressure after burial and mechanical impacts from the ground, protecting the internal cable from damage.
- Industry and Infrastructure: Commonly used for internal power distribution in power plants, factories, and substations to supply power to heavy machinery, control panels, and other equipment. It is also used in infrastructure projects such as rail transit, tunnels, and airports.
- Applications Requiring High Mechanical Strength: When installed in open cable trays, SWA armor provides sufficient protection against accidental impact damage.

- Structural Stability: The cable core is filled with polypropylene (PP), a non-hygroscopic material, and reinforced with polyester or spunbond tape, ensuring the cable maintains a round, stable shape, preventing moisture intrusion, and guaranteeing long-term electrical performance.
- High Heat Resistance: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation is used, allowing the conductor to operate at a maximum long-term temperature of 90°C and withstand temperatures up to 250°C during short circuits (for up to 5 seconds). This provides the cable with strong overload capacity.
- High Current Carrying Capacity: Thanks to the excellent heat resistance and electrical properties of XLPE insulation, this cable can carry a higher current than PVC-insulated cables with the same conductor cross-sectional area.
