ACSR/AW-TR/OC XLPE Cable Application
- ACSR-OC: Standard overhead distribution; suitable for high-voltage (6.6 kV) and extra-high-voltage (22.9 kV) overhead lines in most general environments.
- ACSR/AW-OC: Light pollution/coastal/industrial areas; the steel core is coated with aluminum, providing greater corrosion resistance than standard galvanized steel cores, making it particularly suitable for coastal areas, industrial zones, or areas with mild environmental pollution.
- ACSR/AW-TR/OC: High-pollution/harsh environments. Features an additional “tracking resistance” layer that effectively suppresses surface leakage currents. Specifically designed for 22.9 kV extra-high-voltage lines in heavily polluted or harsh environments such as coastal areas, industrial zones, and mountainous regions.

ACSR/AW-TR/OC XLPE Cable Feature
- ACSR-OC: Cost-effective, it meets the requirements of the vast majority of conventional overhead distribution lines (6.6 kV – 22.9 kV), offering reliable mechanical strength and electrical performance.
- ACSR/AW-OC: Its reinforced core is made of aluminum-clad steel (Aluminum-Clad Steel), meaning the steel wires are firmly coated with a layer of aluminum. This dense aluminum layer effectively isolates the core from external corrosive agents, making it far more corrosion-resistant than ordinary galvanized steel wire.
- CSR/AW-TR/OC: The semiconductive outer layer evenly distributes the surface electric field, effectively suppressing leakage current. This significantly delays insulation aging and markedly improves the service life and safety of the cable in heavily polluted environments.
