H1Z2Z2-K Cable Application
- H1Z2Z2-K cable is specifically designed for the DC side of solar installations:
- String Cable: Connects individual solar panels in series.
- Module Junction Cable: The “tail wire” from the panel itself.
- Trunk Cable: Extends from the string combiner box to the DC disconnect switch and inverter.
- Inside the DC Combiner Box: Used for interconnecting modules.

H1Z2Z2-K Cable Feature
- Exceptional weather resistance and UV protection: The specially formulated jacket withstands prolonged exposure to sunlight (UV radiation), ozone, and extreme temperatures (-40°C to +120°C), resisting cracking and aging for decades.
- Thermal stability: Cross-linked material enables the conductor to withstand temperatures up to 120°C. Withstands short-circuit temperatures as high as 200°C.
- Mechanical strength: Resists abrasion, tearing, and mechanical stress during and after installation, while also being oil, acid, and alkali resistant.
- Flexibility (-K): Fine stranded conductors facilitate handling, bending, and installation, particularly suited for confined spaces around cable management systems, combiner boxes, and module frames.
