XUHKXS Cable Feature

• Dual Water-Barrier Design: Semiconductive expansion strips are installed both inside and outside the metal shielding layer. If moisture penetrates, the expansion strips rapidly expand to block the spread of moisture along the length of the cable, preventing the entire cable section from being rendered unusable due to localized water ingress.
• High Current-Carrying Capacity and Short-Circuit Resistance: The conductor has a long-term allowable operating temperature of up to +90°C and can withstand temperatures as high as 250°C during a short circuit (lasting up to 5 seconds).
• Stable Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, combined with inner and outer semiconductive shielding layers, effectively equalizes the electric field and ensures insulation reliability during medium-voltage operation.
• Reinforced Shielding: A combination of copper wire and copper tape shielding provides both flexibility and radial sealing, enabling it to carry fault currents while enhancing mechanical strength.
• Weather-Resistant Outer Sheath: The medium-density polyethylene (MDPE) outer sheath is not only waterproof and moisture-resistant but also features UV resistance and abrasion resistance. It can be exposed directly to sunlight or buried underground, making it suitable for harsh environments.
