- High Installation Flexibility: Its relatively small outer diameter and weight make it suitable for a variety of installation methods, including cable trays, conduits, and cable trenches, and it even supports direct burial when conditions permit.
- Environmental Adaptability: The sheath is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) by default, making it suitable for typical dry or damp environments. An important option is to replace the sheath material with polyethylene (PE), which significantly enhances the cable’s moisture resistance in environments with prolonged submersion or extreme humidity.
- Strict Partial Discharge Requirements: At 1.73 times the rated voltage (U0), the partial discharge level must be 5 picoCoulombs (pC) or better. This is a critical and stringent indicator of the insulation quality in medium-voltage cables, ensuring the cable’s reliability during long-term operation.
